living, loving & learning + musings about being a soul in a human body, and the ways we are woven into the universe

Heather Sage

Hi, and welcome to soul fabric, an offering of my heart.

Life has given me many labels throughout the years: writer, yoga + pranayama teacher, university professor, author, conscious breath/embodiment educator, blogger, digital media expert, brand marketer, happy wife, softball mom, HSP, empath, INFJ and more, and while this blog may speak through some of those lenses, it’s not meant to highlight any of them specifically.

I see soul fabric as an outlet for my process as a human; I write about things I love and am pondering or passionate about. This blog is simply a reflection of the journey of my ‘one, wild and precious life.’ I’ve heard many times, ‘write for yourself,’ so I try to do that, knowing we’re all more alike than different. Most posts speak to my spiritual nature, the way I’m living into my truths as I understand them, embodiment aha’s, nature reflections, creation spirituality, contemplative teachings, breath, poetry, art, journaling … As Walt Whitman said, “I contain multitudes;” we all do!

I am an outdoor girl who enjoys hiking, contemplative nature walking and journaling, swimming and working our land with my husband, and I’m a maker/creator at my core. Besides writing, my passions include learning, playing my bamboo flute, absorbing spiritual texts, laughing and having deep heartfelt conversations with my soul sisters, spending time with my amazing daughter, sewing, textile art, wildcrafting herbs, drawing, painting and art journaling. Please enjoy and connect with me via email, social media (links above), or {READ BIO} if you’d like to learn more.

“I am a child of the universe, no less than the moon and the trees and the stars” … and so are you. The trouble is, we forget. Let’s learn to remember.
